EAGLE SCOUT SERVICE PROJECT

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2924: Women’s Memorial and Flag Pole to Honor Fallen Veterans

PROJECT PURPOSE: In fulfilling the Scout Oath—"to help other people at all times”—this Eagle Scout service project provides an opportunity to serve the community while developing, demonstrating, and honing leadership skills. Through this experience, I will learn valuable life lessons in leadership, selfless service, commitment, and teamwork.

PROJECT GOAL: To provide VFW Post 2924 with a dedicated Women’s Memorial, a 30-foot flagpole with lighting and a concrete base, a new post sign, and exterior building improvements, including repairs and repainting. This project will honor all Veterans—especially women—and reflect the values of Scouting through service, patriotism, and leadership.
